new york times, coffee, snow and FRENCH TOAST

in a large bowl mix together:
1/4 c. flour
1 c. milk
3 eggs
1/2 teas. cinnamon
1 teas. vanilla
pinch salt 
two tbl. sugar

i love using safeway brand french toast bread (but any bread you like is great).

dunk the bread into the batter,  place the soaked bread on the griddle at 325 degrees, flip after 3 min and cook another 3 minutes.  serve with butter, powdered sugar and real maple syrup.  fresh fruit is always great w/ french toast.
